Ferry ride for Ronan and Richie

My boys love the outdoors. Dada and I make it a point to take them for trips on Sundays. Last Sunday we took them for a ferry ride. There are 2 ferries which are plying on this river. The place is very scenic with mangroves growing along the banks of the river.

For Richie and Ronan, it was a new experience. They were excited. Initially Ronan got a bit scared with the sound of the ferry engine. But later he started enjoying the ride. They took stones and started throwing in the water. The stones went "pop" in the water, forming circular ripples. The ripples of all the stones were intersecting each other and forming a nice pattern. The kids were enjoying every bit of it. They wanted more and more..

The sun was setting and it had a nice orange glow across the horizon. Richie asked "Where is the sun going Mama?"  I said, "The sun is going to meet other people in the world. It will be sunset here and sunrise in some other part in the world. It is going to be night here and the moon will shine now. " Thinking about the moon Richie felt happy.

The boys got tired after playing so we headed back home with sweet memories of the day.

My dear darling Ronan

My little darling Ronan is a sweetheart. He is very naughty but yet very sweet. He has this cute little smile which he flashes whenever he is upto some mischief. ;)

If he gets angry, he beats the person. But when we pretend to cry, he comes and does "nice" with his cute little hands.

He likes to play with his brother Richie and other cousins, but tries to get things done his way.
He plays cricket, football, catching ball etc. He does good bowling and aims at the wickets. He also does running races with his brother.

Nowadays he rides his cycle by standing on it. I wonder where he learnt it!! Is it the influence of watching too many sports on TV?

Ronan joined school

Ronan joined school just a few days back.

He completed 2 years and there he was, going to play-school with his mickey-mouse bag on his shoulders containing his books, lunchbox, water bottle etc., finding it hard to say "good-bye" to mama; a few teardrops trickling down his cute little cheeks melting mama's heart.

Sad it may be to say "see you soon my little boy"; but nevertheless, my boy has to come out of his home and explore the new world ; a world of new friends, new people and infinite possiblities; And did I say time flies? Wasn't it just yesterday that I was holding his hand and guiding him to walk?

Mother of 2 boys

Motherhood has been a wonderful journey so far. My 2 boys are very active and smart. They keep me on my toes most of the time. :) Whatever the elder son does the little one follows. ;) Guess the little one is too small to understand and just copies what he sees.

My elder son Richie is 4 years and younger son Ronan is 1.5 years old.

They love playing together, but sometimes fight for the same toys. Though we have bought similar toys, they still need them to be the same.

Richie is completing nursery school

Richie is finishing his nursery school in a few days. He had a great time at his new school.

Milestones:
- won medals and certificates.
- changed from introvert to an extrovert person.
- made a lot of new friends.
- took part in dance in school (happy boys, happy girls).
- did well in academics. Got A+.
- was regular to school.
- learnt coloring, alphabets, numbers, and nursery rhymes.
- trying various IQ tests.
- trying aptitude games, puzzles etc.

Kids growing up fast

Hiya There,

Time flies... and I am back after so long.
Ronan is 17 months old. He is running all over the place. He loves the outdoors and is happy when we say "Lets go wrooom, wrooom by car". We go out for walks in the evenings. He sits in his pram while Richie and I play badminton.
Richie has become a big boy. He helps mama with simple chores in the house. He loves to take Ronan for a walk in the pram. He is going to school and talks a lot about the happenings in school.

As for me, I am back to business.
