I am a proud mom of a 1 month old boy
I am a proud mom of a 1 month year old baby. How I love to hold you in my arms and give you the loving squeeze. Life is different with you in our lives. We are both trying to understand each other and to know what each action means. I have come to know when you want your mom near you just to hold you and feel the warmth. You are a good boy. You recognize my voice from a distance and turn your head in that direction. You search me in the crowd and smile when you find me.:) You make me so complete. It feels so great to be your mom, my darling.
Caring for my newborn baby - First Month
What a joy it is to take care of your baby. :)The dream of so many years is a reality and here the baby is in your arms, saying ”Mom, dad, I am here in your arms. Please take good care of me”. Sure baby we are always there for you.
It is said that first few months are the toughest and most important months for a newborn as well as the mother. I started learning a lot of things about baby caring. First couple of days, things seem so difficult.. taking care of a newborn when you have not handled a baby before.:) He used to have his times of hunger, wet diapers etc. It took me a while to understand his different cries. Sometimes I used to get anxious not knowing whether I am doing the right thing. Most of the first time Mums will agree with me. It is good to have someone around who can advise you.
Night time it was only me and baby. Nursing, changing nappies in the night and rocking my baby in the wee hours of morning. Sometimes I used to wake up my hubby when I could not handle things any longer. At the same time I used to feel bad for him as he had to go for work the next day. I used to be in a total hypnotic state, not knowing when I was awake or sleeping. I hardly had time for anything. But it is worth all the efforts to see a part of you growing as an individual. Trying to give him the best in whatever way we can.
